CVIS Forum

To ensure the widest possible consensus on the proposed solutions and to facilitate their market take-up, CVIS has created a project forum which welcomes the input from the entire European telematics community.

Apart from creating a thematic network around the project, the CVIS Forum will also be a meeting point for national and commercial initiatives and serve for training purposes. The Forum aims to be the nerve-centre for all cooperative vehicle-infrastructure systems activities in Europe.

The Forum targets a wide representation of bodies interested in cooperative systems - including vehicle manufacturers, road operators, traffic managers, fleet managers, insurance companies, public authorities, telecom operators, traffic system suppliers, terminal manufacturers, middleware providers, service providers, user organisations and content providers.

However, all interested key stakeholders are welcome to participate.

Membership of the Forum is free and includes regular newsletters and invitations to important CVIS events. Members of the Forum will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation and other related meeting expenses.

Forum Members will be invited to participate in workshops foreseen at three key stages of the project to review:

  • The draft user needs and system requirements – scheduled for month 9
  • The draft system architecture and interface specifications – scheduled for month 16
  • The progress of the assessment and validation work – scheduled for month 43

If you are interested in joining in the CVIS Forum, please register here
