 The CVIS project consortium and Telefonica I+D have signed a cooperation agreement. This agreement grants Telefónica I+D permission to use the CVIS Reference Execution Platform for vehicle-to-infrastructure and vehicle-to-vehicle communications. The conditions and terms of use are specified in the evaluation license agreement available to projects and organisations within the European R&D community.
Telefónica I+D will provide a report detailing the results of its evaluation of the CVIS Reference Execution Platform and core software, and of its evaluation of service/business models. The cooperation agreement with Telefonica is one of 14 signed or under negotiation with external entities/projects and further strengthens the CVIS goal to provide a truly European and open reference platform for cooperation systems. CVIS welcomes requests for cooperation from further projects and organisations involved in the development and deployment of cooperative systems in Europe.
